This page describes the management methods of the site in relation to the processing of personal data of users and visitors who consult it, with the aim of allowing users to know, even before accessing the various sections of the site and providing their data, how Prontofoods S.p.A. processes users’ personal data.

This information is also provided pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) to all those who interact with the services offered by Prontofoods S.p.A., accessible electronically from the address: www.ristora.it corresponding to the home page of the site.

Data controller
Following consultation of this site or voluntary compilation of the formats (forms) provided therein, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed. The Data Controller is Prontofoods S.p.A., with registered office in Via Branze n. 44 – 25123 Brescia (BS) and administrative headquarters in Montichiari (BS) in via Grazia Deledda n. 43.

 

Categories of subjects who may become aware of users’ personal data
Users’ personal data may be brought to the attention of employees or collaborators of the Data Controller’s Marketing Office who, operating under the direct authority of the latter, are authorized to process pursuant to art. 29 of the GDPR, receiving adequate operational instructions for carrying out the Processing itself. Furthermore, in certain cases, personal data may also be communicated to suppliers, contractors and consultants, in charge of maintenance operations of the contents of the website or the provision of certain functions or services relating to it. The recipients will have access to personal information only to the extent required for the performance of their functions, according to certain contractual confidentiality obligations. These recipients are designated by the Guarantor – pursuant to art. 28 of the Regulation – as data controllers. The complete list of any managers appointed pursuant to art. 28 of the GDPR is available at the headquarters of the Data Controller.

 

Types of data processed and purposes of the processing

 

Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s IT environment.

This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning. The data could be used by the competent authorities to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

Data provided voluntarily by the user
Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide their personal data. The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of data by sending e-mail messages to the address indicated on this site or by filling out the forms on the Contact and Work with Us pages involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. The Data Controller ensures that the personal data provided by users (name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, content of the letter) who forward requests for information or applications are used for the sole purpose of allowing the execution of the requested service. However, failure to provide them will make it impossible to obtain what is requested.

In particular, personal data provided voluntarily by users are processed for the following purposes:

a) provide answers regarding our products and services;

b) provide assistance and customer care services;

c) develop statistics in anonymous form (e.g. to evaluate the number of requests received);

e) evaluate a possible application and carry out a selection in view of the possible start of a working collaboration with you.

Specific summary information and requests for consent will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the site set up for particular services.

Treatment methods
Personal data are processed, with automated and electronic tools, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and are communicated to third parties only if this is necessary to achieve the requested service. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use of the same and unauthorized access.

Data retention
We keep your personal data for a limited period of time, strictly connected to the purpose for which they are collected, at the end of which the data are deleted or otherwise made irreversibly anonymous, unless it is necessary to keep them for legal obligations or to protect a legitimate interest of Prontofoods S.p.A..
In particular, the data we collect when you send a request for information or assistance are kept until the request has been satisfied and for the following 12 months in case further assistance is necessary, while those we process when you send us your application for a job position, including your CV, are deleted 6 months after its receipt.

Rights of interested parties
Interested parties have the right to obtain from the Data Controller, in the cases provided for, access to personal data, rectification, portability or revocation of consent where given or the cancellation of the same or the limitation of the processing that concerns them or to oppose the processing (art. 15 et seq. of the Regulation). The specific request must be sent to the Data Controller at privacy@ristora.com, or by ordinary mail to: Prontofoods S.p.A. – via Grazia Deledda n. 43 – 25018 Montichiari (BS).

Right to complain
Interested parties who believe that the processing of personal data relating to them carried out through this site is in violation of the provisions of the Regulation have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor, as provided for by the art. 77 of the Regulation itself, or to take action in the appropriate judicial offices (art. 79 of the Regulation).

This Privacy Policy is effective from 28 September 2023. Prontofoods S.p.A. reserves the right to modify or simply update its content, in part or completely, also due to changes in applicable legislation. Prontofoods S.p.A. will inform you of such changes as soon as they are introduced and they will be binding as soon as they are published on the site. Prontofoods S.p.A. therefore invites you to regularly visit this section to become aware of the most recent and updated version of the Privacy Policy, so that the user is always updated on the data collected and the use made of it by Prontofoods S.p.A.
